The Charles B. Wang Center,
celebrating Asian and American cultures, is dedicated to presenting
the public with a multifaceted, intellectually sound, and humane
understanding of Asian and Asian American cultures, and their
relationship to other cultures. The Wang Center is also a conference
facility and a presenting venue for events of cultural, professional
and intellectual calibre. Read more about our

The Wang
Center is open to the public Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
with Asian food available from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Guided tours are
available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 12:45 p.m.

Board meets every 1st Tuesday of the month at Berkner Hall, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm.

APAA members and friends...to commemorate the life and
career of Dr. Mow S. Lin, a scholarship has been created to further
the work to which he gave life.
Dr. Mow S. Lin Scholarship
The "BERA Asian Pacific American Association" has created the Dr.
Mow Shiah Lin Scholarship in honor of Dr. Lin's achievements and
remarkable research and inventions. To contribute to this fund,
forward checks payable to "BAPAA" (BERA Asian Pacific American
Association) to: Samantha Lin, Bldg. 527, Brookhaven National
Laboratory, Upton, N.Y. 11973-5000

The
U.S. Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory conducts
research in the physical, biomedical, and environmental sciences, as
well as in energy technologies. Brookhaven also builds and operates
major facilities available to university, industrial, and government
scientists. The Laboratory is managed by Brookhaven Science
Associates, a limited liability company founded by Stony Brook
University and Battelle, a nonprofit applied science and technology
organization. |
